Anna was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, but moved to Georgia to get her BFA in Fine Arts and Animation in 2003.

She was drawn to animation as an outlet for storytelling and eventually began dabbling in character illustration and fiction writing. Her first book was started and finished in the spring of 2007, a fevered project that began as her senior animation project and ended as something entirely different. That story has yet to be shared with the world, but its creation birthed the world of Sholindrea. Fast forward to 2023, and the first installment of the Sholindrean Tales—Lecarian’s Fang—is now available for the world to read.
